Attaf invited by US counterpart to visit Washington
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf has received a letter from his American counterpart, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, inviting him to make a working visit to Washington “as soon as possible, given the respective commitments of both parties.
The visit will provide an opportunity to hold the sixth session of the Algeria-US strategic dialogue, as well as a more general assessment of the multidimensional cooperation between Algeria and the United States.
In this regard, particular attention will be paid to regional security, the fight against terrorism, the ever-developing economic partnership, as well as to the fields of culture and education, which are playing an increasingly important role in relations between the two countries.
