ALGIERS-Algerian Ambassador Larbi Djacta was triumphantly elected Chairman of the United Nations (UN) International Civil Service Commission (ISCS) by the United Nations.
The election took place Friday at the UN headquarters in New York.
The Algerian ambassador won 121 votes while the Moroccan rival obtained only 64 votes.
