ALGIERS-President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika received a message from his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, who hailed “his historical contribution” in the development of bilateral relations.
“As a great friend of the Chinese people, you have made a historical contribution to the development of Algerian-Chinese relations,” Jinping stressed in a congratulation message to President Bouteflika, in which he voiced his “sincere congratulations” and “best wishes.”
The Chinese president also expressed his commitment to the historical friendship between the two countries, and his willingness to work for “the development of strategic partnership.”
