ALGIERS – Algeria has “strongly” condemned any attack on the sacred places of Islam and the Muslim nation, denouncing the “use of violence which sparks the outrage of all the Muslims.”

“We strongly condemn any attack on the sacred symbols of our Muslim religion, and we denounce the use of violence that sparks the outrage and dismay of all the Muslims and goes in total contradiction with the Islam precepts,” he said while stressing the “need to preserve the sacred Places of Islam and the values of the Muslim civilization.”
The Foreign Ministry’s spokesman reaffirmed Algeria’s position regarding terrorism scourge, in all its forms, and the importance of its elimination, expressing, thus, the “solidarity of our country with Saudi Arabia.”
