ALGIERS- Algeria on Monday has reiterated, through the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdelaziz Benali Cherif, its “support to the unity, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq.”
In a statement on the recent developments in Iraq, especially the referendum held in Kurdistan in late September, Benali Cherif underlined that “Algeria has always supported Iraq and has expressed its solidarity on several occasions.”
He also reiterated “its unwavering support to the unity, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq.”
