Algeria, France have “excellent” relations based on consultations and cooperation

ALGIERS- The Speaker of the People’s National Assembly Mohamed Larbi Ould Khelifa affirmed Monday that Algeria and France have “excellent” relations based on consultations and cooperation, calling for further coordination notably in terms of security and stability in the region,”
said a communiqué of this institution.
Ould Khelifa reiterated during the audience that he granted to the head of France-Algeria parliamentary friendship group at the French Senate Alain Neri, and the delegation accompanying him, “the concern of Algeria, which suffered from the throes of terrorism during one decade, to solve the conflicts through peaceful ways, through dialogue between the parties to the conflict in accordance with its unchanging principle relating to the non-interference in the countries’ domestic affairs.”
Ould Khelifa stressed the “need to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries at the parliamentary level,” welcoming “the positive results achieved through the High parliamentary commission.”
For his part, Neri said that his visit to Algeria aims at “examining the opportunities for the training of Algerian young people in particular in the fields of education and vocational training.”
