Africa Day was celebrated on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in ‘Ivan Vasov ‘National Theatre Park Sofia, with the presence of African Ambassadors accredited to Bulgaria and the Vice-President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mrs. Iliana Yotova (Guest of Honour).
A large number of distinguished guests, Bulgarian and Africans citizens, and tourists attended this event to enjoy music, costumes, souvenirs and traditional dishes of the continent, in an friendly and convivial atmosphere.
The celebration was widely covered by various Bulgarian media.
