Mr Attaf signs condolence book for late Russian ambassador
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, on Monday at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Algiers, signed the condolence book following the death of the Russian ambassador to Algeria, Valerian Shuvaev.
“With profound sorrow and deep grief, along with our compassion and full solidarity, that I address, on behalf of the officials and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad and on my behalf, my heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Ambassador Valerian Shuvaev, and to all members of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Algiers, as well as to members of the Russian diplomatic corps in Moscow and abroad,” Attaf wrote in the condolence book.
“As we share in the grief of our Russian friends over Ambassador Shuvaev’s passing, we wish on this occasion to note the qualities of this seasoned diplomat. He dedicated his life to serving his country, which he so well represented. In his noble missions in Algeria, right up to his last breath, he worked tirelessly and remarkably to bolster and deepen the strategic partnership relations between our two countries and friendly peoples,” the minister added.
