Mr Attaf receives lower house’s deputies representing diaspora
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received on Wednesday at the ministry’s headquarters deputies from the People’s National Assembly (Parliament’s lower house) representing the national community established abroad.
This meeting is part of the tradition of consultation and coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and parliamentary representatives of the diaspora.
It provided an opportunity to review the situation of the Algerians living abroad in all aspects, and to examine ways and means to address their different concerns, in line with the key measures taken by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for the benefit of the diaspora.
The exchanges between the minister and the Parliament’s deputies focused on several issues and files related to modernizing consular services and organizing the national community, so as to allow its members to contribute effectively to the economic revival that Algeria is witnessing at different levels.
