Participation of the Embassy in the 11th edition of the MENAR Film Festival
The Embassy of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in Sofia took part in the 11th edition of the Middle East and North Africa Film Festival (MENAR), taking place in Sofia from 15 to 31 January 2019, with the film “Fadhma N’Soumer” by the Algerian Director Belkacem Hadjadj.
Screened on January 24th, 2019 at the Sofia House of Cinema before a large audience of membrers of the diplomatic corps, media representatives, academics, members of the Bulgaria – Algeria Frienship association and Algerian community established in Bulgaria, the film was very warmly welcomed and highly appereciated by the public.
