PARIS- Algeria is participating for the first time in Viva Technology 2019 of Paris, the world’s rendezvous for startups and technological innovation.
This technological fair, which kicked off Thursday, has brought together about 9,000 startups, 1900 investors from 125 countries.
Algeria participates with an impressive stand run by many small and medium-sized companies, including public operators such as SAFEX and ALGEX, in addition to startups specialized in the technological innovation.
The Algerian stand, which stretches over an area of 100m2, is in the space Africa Tech with about ten other African countries, including Morocco, Tunisia and South Africa.
Africa Tech hosts eight African countries, as well as an Africa Tech Lab devoted to the stakeholders of the African technology, like Digital, Fintech, eSantech, eAgritech, eEdutech, and others.
The Algerian companies offer innovative solutions in several fields, notably training, sustainable water management, leisure and entertainment for children, chip cards and management of legal texts.
