SIEERA 2019: Over 200 partnership agreements signed with specialized companies

ALGIERS- The 2nd International Environment and Renewable Energies Exhibition (SIEERA) wrapped up Sunday, in Algiers, with the signing of 2015 partnership agreements between national and specialized foreign companies,
said Minister of Environment and Renewable Energies Fatima Zohra Zerouati.
This event is meant to be “a space of cooperation and exchange between the public and private national companies operating in the field of environment and renewable energies,” affirmed Zerouati in her speech on the occasion of this exhibition’s wrap up, pointing out that “the contacts established between the national and foreign companies culminated in the inking of 205 partnership agreements.”
She underlined that 1,300 professional meetings were organized, on the occasion of this fair, between economic operators and national and international experts who presented their experiences and exhibited the different modern technologies and the most sophisticated innovations in terms of environment and waste recovery, in all its forms.
Zerouati said that this edition “was marked by the signing of an agreement between her department and Communication Ministry for the training of more than 720 journalists in the fields of environment and renewable energies, in addition to framework agreements with several embassies of foreign countries, including Finland and the Netherlands, in order to encourage the bilateral cooperation in the protection of environment, curbing of climate changes and development of renewable energies.
According to Zerouati, the pavilions of this four-day event experienced a “huge activity,” with the participation of more than 140 exhibitors, including 120 national companies and 22 foreign ones, in addition to pioneering national associations in environment and renewable energies.”
