Mr Attaf receives phone call from acting Iranian Foreign Minister
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received on Thursday a phone call from the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Bagheri Kani.
This call provided an opportunity to “review developments in the Palestinian issue, given the Zionist policy of escalation and fueling wars on several fronts across the Middle East, in addition to addressing the consequences of the terrorist attack carried out by the Zionist entity in Tehran, which killed the late Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of Hamas.
In this regard, the two ministers agreed on the need to ramp up the efforts of Arabic and Islamic countries at the level of the different international bodies and organizations. This is to compel the Zionist entity to halt its brutal and unrelenting aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and to end its repeated attempts to widen the area of conflict and drag the region into a war with catastrophic consequences for all.
