Mr Attaf receives chairman of Palestinian Research Centre’s board of directors
The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received Tuesday at the ministry’s headquarter, the chairman of the board of directors of the Palestinian Research Centre and former Prime Minister of the State of Palestine, a sister country, Mohammad Shtayyeh, who is on a working visit to Algeria.
The meeting was an opportunity for the two sides to discuss the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, against a backdrop of the ongoing genocidal war against the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The two officials examined the ways to mobilize greater international efforts to put an end to the brutal Zionist aggression and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
The two sides also discussed the future steps in favour of the Palestinian cause at the UN Security Council and other United Nations bodies, mainly in the light of the valuable conclusions and compelling arguments contained in the landmark advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on 19 July 2024.
