Kuwaiti Emir welcomes Algeria’s support in strengthening inter-Arab relations

ALGIERS- Head of State Abdelkader Bensalah received, on Monday, a message from Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah in which he welcomed Algeria’s support for his country in
strengthening inter-Arab relations, said the Presidency of the Republic in a communiqué.
“Head of State Abdelkader Bensalah received a message from His Highness Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, in response to the message conveyed by the Foreign Minister during his official visit to Kuwait,” the source said.
After expressing greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, His Highness welcomed the strong brotherly relations between Kuwait and Algeria, highlighting the two countries’ common and permanent commitment to promote cooperation in different areas,” the source added.
The Kuwaiti Emir also highlighted the convergence of views between him and the Head of the State on the “need to extend coordination between the two countries in regional and international questions, said the Presidency of the Republic.
He additionally welcomed “Algeria’s support for Kuwait in strengthening inter-Arab relations with a view to resolving differences and establishing union,” concluded the source.
Foreign Minister Sabri Boukadoum paid a working visit to Kuwait on 5 May at the invitation of his counterpart Sheikh Sabah Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait.
Boukadoum was received by the Kuwaiti Emir to whom he transmitted a message on behalf of Head of State Abdelkader Bensalah.
