President Tebboune receives phone call from Emmanuel Macron

ALGIERS-President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Saturday a phone call from France’s President, Emmanuel Macron who renewed his invitation to President Tebboune to attend the European Union (EU)-African Union
(AU) Summit, said the Presidency of the Republic in a communiqué.
Both heads of state discussed bilateral ties and the prospects of the holding of the High Intergovernmental Sectoral Committee.
“President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Saturday a phone call from France’s President, Emmanuel Macron. The two presidents focused on bilateral ties,” said the source.
France’s president renewed his invitation to President Tebboune to participate in the EU-AU Summit to take place in Brussels,” said the Presidency’s communiqué.
“Moreover, the two heads of state discussed the prospects of the holding of the High Intergovernmental Sectoral Committee,” said the source.
