President Tebboune holds discussions with Venezuelan counterpart

ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune discussed Thursday, in Algiers, with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro who is on a working and friendship visit to Algeria.
An official welcome was devoted to Venezuela’s President by President Tebboune as he began his visit.
After the listening to the national anthems of the two countries in an official welcoming ceremony at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, the two presidents received a salute from detachments of the Republican Guard.
President Maduro paid tribute to the memory of the martyrs of the National liberation War at the Martyrs Memorial, in Algiers, where a wreath was laid at the commemorative stele and a minute of silence was observed in the memory of the martyrs of the Algerian Revolution.
Venezuelan President arrived Wednesday evening in Algiers for a two-day working and friendship visit.
