President Bouteflika signs decrees on ratification of cooperation agreements

ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has signed five presidential decrees on ratification of cooperation agreements with many countries, in accordance with Article 91-9 of the Constitution,
the presidency of the Republic said in a statement.
It is the additional protocol to the General Convention between the government of the Algerian Republic and the government of the French Republic on social security of 1 October 1980 on healthcare provided in France to Algerian nationals, contributors to Social Security, and the disadvantaged living in Algeria, who are not contributors to Social Security, signed in Algiers on 10 April 2016.
The second decree signed by the head of State is on ratification of the cooperation agreement between the government of the Algerian Republic and the government of the Republic of China for the protection of plants and plant quarantine, signed in Beijing on 22 September 2017.
The third decree is on ratification of the cooperation agreement between the government of the Algerian Republic and the government of the Republic of China in animal health and quarantine, signed in Beijing on 22 September 2017.
The documents signed by President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika also include the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the government of the Algerian Republic and the Republic of Mali on national solidarity, signed in Bamako on 3 November 2016.
The last decree is on ratification of an agreement between the government of the Algerian Republic and the government of the Republic of Bulgaria on mutual exemption of short-stay visa requirements for diplomatic and service passport holders, signed in Sofia on 23 March 2018.
