Ould Khelifa meets with Speaker of Albanian Parliament in Tirana

ALGIERS- The Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (Lower House), Mohamed Larbi Ould Khelifa held discussions Friday, in Tirana (Albania), with the Speaker of the Parliament of Albania, Ilir Meta, on the sidelines of his participation to the 10th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean.
According to the Lower House’s communiqué, Ould Khelifa underlined, in the meeting, “the need to unify the approach to deal with the challenges in the Mediterranean region,” highlighting “Algeria positive role in the establishment of peace and security in Africa and the rest of the world.”
For his part, the Speaker of the Albanian parliament underlined “the longstanding and humanitarian dimension of the Algerian-Albanian relations and his country’s willingness to strengthen the cooperation and dialogue ties to the best interest of both people.”
