Ould Khelifa, Guinea’s minister of Security and Civil Protection hold talks

ALGIERS – Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (Lower House-APN), Mohamed Larbi Ould Khelifa held talks
Thursday in Algiers with Guinea’s minister of Security and Civil Protection Abdoul Kabèlè Camara, on the state of the bilateral relations and their means for their fostering notably in the economic field.”
Mentioning the fields of the bilateral cooperation, the Lower house speaker affirmed that “Algeria, which adopts a new economic model is ready to heighten the cooperation volume with Guinea through the training of officials in various sectors,” said a communiqué of the Assembly.
“Due to the rising terrorist threat and the developments that occurred in the continent, Algeria is seeking, in application of president Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s orientation, to reinforce its coordination with Guinea within the AU and the different regional organizations,” said Ould Khelifa.
“The two countries which share the same visions are fully aware of the need to counter the crises facing the region countries, through the revival of the inclusive dialogue among the conflicting parties and the respect of the peoples’ right to self-determination,” he added.
The “foreign interferences to impose solutions by the force can only worsen the situations,” said the Speaker of the Lower House, calling for “drawing lessons from the experiences of Libya, Syria and Iraq.”
As for him, the Guinean minister of Security and Civil Protection Abdoul Kabèlè Camara stressed the “central role of Algeria in the African continent,” adding that President Alpha Condé assigned him to convey his feeling of friendship to the Algerian people and government, seeking to reinforce the relations with Algeria which has always given unwavering support to his country and Africa as a whole.”.
Camara hoped that the bilateral cooperation “qualitatively grows, notably after the forthcoming installation of the High Joint Committee,” expressing
“special interest in the Algerian experience in terms of training of security officials to counter the terrorist threats.”
