Large crowd at Algerian Product Fair in Libreville

LIBREVILLE (GABON) – The Algerian Products Fair in Libreville, the capital of Gabon, inaugurated Tuesday, has attracted large crowd, came to discover the Algerian products.
On the day two of this first-of-its-kind economic event in the Central African region, visitors seem to be impressed by the Algerian products.
The interests of the Gabonese in notably the household appliances and farming equipments is explained by quality and diversity, visitors to the event which will run until 2 December told APS.
At the pavilion of Group Condor, specializing in the manufacturing of electronic and household appliances, new brand products have sparked the interest of citizens and the local economic operators as well.
By participating in this fair, the Group looks to “acquire more visibility in the Gabonese market through forging partnerships with local firms.”
Condor, which achieved $20 million in sales in the first half of 2018, is exhibiting a panel of new electrical and electronic products.
The Group expects to achieve an export turnover of $ 50 million at the end of 2018 and $ 100 million at the end of 2019, according to the stand representative.
“Golden Drink,” a company which produces mineral water, juice and soda is also participating in the Fair. For the representative of this company based in Akbou region, Gabon is represents a “promising market” for the Algerian products.
“Serina”, an agribusiness company specializing in the manufacture of pasta, also arouses the interest of Gabonese operators, for its quality and price.
Also present at this event, the national airline Air Algerie announced it would soon launch a new Algiers-Libreville airlink to facilitate the movement of travellers including economic operators from both countries.
