ORAN- Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra affirmed Saturday, in Oran, the commitment of Algeria and that of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune to the unconditional

defense of the just African causes on the African and international scenes.

“Algeria and its President Abdelmadjid Tebboune are committed to unconditionally defending all the just African causes on the African and international scenes,” stressed Ramtane Lamamra in his speech at the wrap up of the 8th high-level seminar on peace and security in Africa.

Algeria, affirmed the minister, “will deploy all its efforts and implement everything to live up to the expectations of the Africans and Arabs, especially as they approved its candidacy for the post of non-permanent member of the United Nations (UN) Security Council for 2024-2025.”

The 8th seminar on peace and security in Africa is “successful and promising” giving to the African diplomacy “a clear vision of the future and endowing the African delegations accredited to the United Nations with a roadmap which will make from the African diplomacy an influential element and will be of benefit to the security and stability in the African continent,” he added.

Lamamra transmitted the greetings and satisfaction of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune who, he said, “has followed personally the works of this important seminar devoted to the issues of peace and security in Africa, out of his conviction that a united Africa committed to justice and international ideals is able to make history by unifying its voice and multiplying the efforts of its children.”
