Justice reform: IAJ’s African group pays tribute to President Bouteflika for his efforts

ALGIERS- The African group of the International Association of Judges (IAJ) paid Monday, in Algiers, tribute to President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika for his efforts in favor of reforming
the sector of justice in Algeria.
At the opening of the works of its 23rd session, organized at the International Conference Centre Abdelatif-Rahal under the patronage of President of the Republic, the African group of IAJ honored President Bouteflika for his efforts in favor of reforming the sector of justice in Algeria.
Minister of Justice Tayeb Louh received, on behalf of the Head of State, a symbolic gift presented by President of the International Association of Judges Christopher Régnard and head of this association’s African group.
In a short speech, president of the Malian delegation welcomed “on behalf of IAJ’s African group, of its president and delegations participating in this meeting, the efforts of President Bouteflika, known in Mali as Si Abdelkader El-Mali,” pointing out “his commitment to an independent and efficient justice.”
He underlined that “the creation of the commission of justice reform since his investiture is the best illustration of this commitment.”
