Djellab received in Nouakchott by Mauritanian President

NOUAKCHOTT (Mauritania)- Minister of Trade Said Djellab was received Wednesday in Nouakchott by President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz,
with whom he discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation to raise it to the level of historical political and neighborly relations between the two countries.
Mauritanian president, during the meeting with the Algerian official, stressed his guidelines aiming at boosting economic cooperation and enhancing trade in the benefit of the two countries.
The head of the Mauritanian State emphaiszed the importance of Mustapha Ben Boulaid border crossing in Tindouf.
“This border post is likely to open new prospects for economic integration between the two countries.
Djellab conveyed President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s fraternal greetings to Mauritanian president, underlining the special interest President Bouteflika attaches to economic cooperation between the two sister countries.
The Algerian minister briefed the Mauritanian president on the Algerian Product Fair held in Nouakchott (until October 29), with the participation of 170 Algerian companies.
Djellab welcomed the interest shown by Mauritanian operators in the economic event and the conclusion of partnerships agreements between the businessmen of the two countries in various fields.
