ALGIERS- The Speaker of the Council of the Nation Abdelkader Bensalah handed over Monday, in Monrovia, a written message from President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika to the new President of Liberia George Weah,
said a communiqué of the Council.
The message was handed over to Liberia’s new President in an audience granted to Bensalah on the sidelines of the investiture ceremony to which he took part as a representative of President of the Republic.
Bensalah held, on this occasion, several talks with the heads of delegations that participated in the investiture ceremony, held a the Sport Complex Samuel Kanyon Doe in the presence of several heads of State or their representatives.
George Weah was elected Liberia’s new President on 28 December 2017.
