ALGIERS- Exhibition devoted to comic books and newspaper cartoons is to be held April 6-17 at the Arab World Institute (AWI) in Paris,
a source from the organizing committee of the International Comic Strip Festival of Algiers (FIBDA) has said.
Organized by FIBDA Commissioners’ Office, in collaboration with the National Office of Copyright and Neighbouring Rights (ONDA), the exhibition will shed light on the works of the most famous Algerian cartoonists over the past 50 years.
Works of cartoonists like Slim, Aider, Haroun, Gips, Dilem and Le hic will be displayed at the exhibition, as well as albums, such as “M’qidech,” or old issues of satirical paper “El Manchar.”
