Africa 2018 Forum: Yousfi discusses with several top officials in Sharm El Sheikh

ALGIERS- Minister of Industry and Mining Youcef Yousfi examined with several top officials ways of cooperation and investment prospects in the African continent on the sidelines of his participation
at Africa 2018 Forum whose works kicked off Saturday in Sharm El Sheikh, in Egypt, said Sunday a ministerial communiqué.
On the sidelines of this forum, Yousfi who participated in these works as representative of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika, met with Niger’s President Mahamadou Issoufou who asked him to transmit his fraternal greetings and his highest consideration to President Bouteflika while reiterating his commitment to the strengthening of relations of solidarity and good neighborliness between the two countries.
The minister also held discussions with the head of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki with whom he broached the forum’s central themes aimed at consolidating the territorial complementarity and encouraging investments in Africa in the economic fields, while giving a boost to trading on the basis of the agenda 2063 of the African Union and its priorities for the decade.
The discussions also focused on several issues relating to investment prospects and opportunities in Africa in various fields, the challenges facing the investment momentum in addition to the development process in Africa.
Yousfi also held talks with Egyptian Minister of Industry and Trade Amr Nassar who thanked Algeria for its participation, with a high level delegation, in the world of the African Investment Forum, hosted by Egypt.
Industry Minister met with Tunisian Minister of Trade Omar El Bahi. The two sides expressed their satisfaction at the exceptional level of bilateral cooperation relations, by implementing the recommendation of the Algerian-Tunisian high joint committee, reiterating their common willingness to work together for the strengthening of the partnership between the two countries in the industrial field.
Youcef Yousfi also met with South African Minister of Trade and Industry Rob Davies with whom he reviewed the bilateral cooperation in the industrial field and ways to strengthen the economic partnership between the two countries in different industrial sectors.
