Boukadoum received by Libyan Prime Minister

TRIPOLI – Libyan Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dbeibah received Monday, in Tripoli, Algerian Ministers of Foreign Affairs and the Interior, Sabri Boukadoum and Kamel Beldjoud.
During this meeting, the two parries reviewed “the intensification of coordination and political consultations (between the two countries) around various issues of common interest,” said a statement from the Libyan government.
The two sides agreed on the need for “pursuing the cooperation and consultations in order to face the dangers which threaten the region, such as terrorism, cross-border organized crime, drug trafficking, arms smuggling and illegal immigration, ”the statement said.
The preparatory meetings for the 14th session of the High Joint Commission were also examined.
According to the press, Libya plans to work towards “reactivating the Maghreb Union and calls for a meeting of AMU foreign ministers.
Boukadoum and Beldjoud, on a working visit to Libya have met senior Libyan officials including the president of Presidential Council, Mohamed El Manfi and two members of the Presidential Council, Moussa El Kouni and Abdallah Ellafi.
They were also received by the president of the High Council of the State, Khaled El Mechri.
