On the sidelines of the ceremonies, Temmar met with UN Under-Secretary-General, Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN‐Habitat) Maimunah Mohd Sharif. Their discussions focused on cooperation and coordination between the two parties. The UN Executive plans to visit Algeria, the source added.
During his discussions with the Executive Director of UN-Habitat, the minister set out the outcomes of Algeria’s efforts in the sector of housing and cities management, notably adapting laws to international commitments, like the Kyoto Convention.
