Upper House to partake in Forum of Arab Parliamentarians in Tunis

ALGIERS-Senator and Vice-Speaker of the Forum of African and Arab Parliamentarians on Population and Development Abdelmadjid Tekich will partake in a meeting on “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement in the Arab
world” scheduled for 12-14 December in Tunis, the Council of the Nation (Upper House) announced Monday in a communiqué
Participants in the meeting will focus on many issues, including the complementarily of services in reproductive healthcare in some Arab countries, parenthood planning in the region and the results of reports on SDGs achievement.
The meeting is co-organized by the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) for the Arab region in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNPF for the Arab region), in collaboration with Forum of African and Arab Parliamentarians on Population and Development, said the source.
