ALGIERS – The General Confederation of the Algerian Entreprises (CGEA) will sign next February a cooperation agreement with the Italian Employers organization “Confindustria”
and the African Employers body “Business Africa”, to access the markets of 55 African countries, said Thursday President of the CGEA, Saida Neghza.
“During February, we will sign an agreement with Confindustria and Business Africa, which brings together 55 African countries,” added Neghza, adding that this collaboration aims at increasing trade and investments between the two northern and southern shores of the Mediterranean.
Since Algeria is the gateway to Africa, this agreement will connect the European companies, through Confindustria, and the African ones, through CGEA and Business Africa, she added on the sidelines of the “Med Business Days” forum.
Placed under the theme of “Advocating for a major role for Euro-Mediterranean SMEs as the main driver of economic development in the region”, this forum brought together several Mediterranean entrepreneurs from both sides of the Mediterranean sea.
