President Bouteflika seals five presidential cooperation decrees with several countries

ALGIERS-In accordance with Article 91-9 of the Constitution, President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika signed five (5) presidential decrees ratifying cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoU) with several countries,
the Presidency of the Republic announced Tuesday in a communiqué.
The sealed documents include the agreement amending and prorogating the cooperation agreement on sciences and technology between the Governments of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the United States of America (USA), inked on 23 April 2018.
President Bouteflika also signed the agreement between the Governments of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the People’s Popular Republic of China on the mutual exemption of visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports, sealed on 11 July 2018.
Moreover, the Head of State inked another presidential decree ratifying the MoU between the Governments of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the areas of consumer protection, fraud repression and the monitoring of goods and services, signed on 17 January 2018.
The Head of State also sealed the presidential decree ratifying the cooperation agreement on sports between the Governments of the People’s National Democratic Republic and the Republic of Bulgaria, inked on 28 February 2014.
President Bouteflika also signed the presidential decree ratifying the agreement between the Governments of the People’s Democratic Republic Algeria and the Republic of Belarus, which provides for the creation of a joint committee on economic, trade, scientific and technical cooperation, inked on 20 February 2018.
