Heads of State, Kings and sovereigns congratulate President-elect Abdelmadjid Tebboune

ALGIERS-Several presidents, princes and kings congratulated Sunday President-elect Abdelmadjid Tebboune after his victory in the presidential election of 12 December with 58.15% of votes.
In this regard, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani sent a congratulation message in which he expressed to Tebboune his sincere congratulations for the trust placed by the Algerian people in him, affirming his commitment to working, on the basis of fraternity ties, for the strengthening of the close cooperation between our two brotherly countries for the mutual interests and aspirations of our Maghreb region’s aspirations.
Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Djabir Al-Sabah congratulated President-elect, saying to be delighted at the good relations between Kuwait and Algeria.
He affirmed his permanent and common concern to develop and strengthen the bilateral relations in various fields.
On this occasion, President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan sent a congratulation message to President-elect Abdelmadjid Tebboune in which he expressed his “sincere congratulations, wishing him success when accomplishing his missions and the Algerian brotherly people all the good and more progress and prosperity for our bilateral relations for the interest of our two peoples and two brotherly countries.”
Tebboune also received a message from Emirati Head of State Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, his Vice-President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as well as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
For his part, Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit congratulated Algeria for the “success” in the presidential election and offered his heartfelt congratulations to Tebboune, expressing his trust in Algeria’s ongoing support to the process of the joint Arab action under the leadership of its new president.
King of Morocco Mohammed VI sent a congratulation message to President-elect Abdelmaldjid Tebboune, calling “to open a new chapter in the relations between the two neighboring countries on the basis of mutual trust and constructive dialogue.”
For his part, President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and Secretary General of the Polisario Front Brahim Ghali sent a congratulation message to Tebboune in which he hailed “the exceptional Algerian experience which lived up to the aspirations.”
Italy presented, via its Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Luigi Di Maio, its congratulations to President-elect Abdelmadjid Tebboune, welcoming the friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries in all fields, hoping “every success” to the newly elected president.
Spokesman of the Chinese diplomacy offered, in a message, China’s congratulations to Abdelmadjid Tebboune, underlining that the successful organization of the presidential election is of a great importance for the recovery of stability and development in Algeria.”
For its part, Russia expressed the hope to reinforce and extend its relations with Algeria thanks to the election on Thursday of Abdelmadjid Tebboune President of the Republic.
