ALGIERS- Minister of Energy Noureddine Boutarfa will pay Monday and Tuesday a visit to the United Arab Emirates to participate particularly in Zayed Future Energy Prize Awards Ceremony and the opening of the World Future Energy Summit.
Zayed Future Energy Prize Awards Ceremony is scheduled for Monday (January 16) in Abu Dhabi, said Sunday a communiqué of the Energy Ministry.
Zayed Prize, given annually since 2008, rewards achievements showing innovation, leadership and long-term vision in the fields of renewable energies and sustainable development.
Boutarfa will also take part in the opening ceremony of the World Future Energy Summit, scheduled from 16 to 19 January in the Emirati capital, added the source.
