ALGIERS – Chairman of the Council of the Nation (Upper House) Abdelkader Bensalah received Thursday in Algiers Speaker of the French National Assembly Claude Bartolone, on a official visit to Algeria.
Previously, Bartolone met with Speaker of the Lower House (APN) Mohamed-Larbi Ould Khelifa.
The Speaker of the French National Assembly Claude Bartolone arrived Wednesday in Algiers for three-day official visit at the invitation of Ould Khelifa.
The National Assembly and the French National Assembly signed in 2007 an agreement p of cooperation in which the two parties committed to “pursue the joint initiatives aiming at the deepening the mutual understanding and cooperation between the two Houses.”
