CAIRO-Algerian swimmers Mohamed Ryad Bouhamidi and Abdallah Ardjoune on Sunday won the gold medals of the 100m backstroke (14-15 years old category) and (16-18 years old category) respectively,
in the 4th round of the 13th Arab Youth Swimming Championships held on 16-20 November at Cairo’s nautical centre.
Bouhamidi (15 years old, USMA) finished in 58.29 before Lebanese Ramy El Ghaziri (1:00.68) and Egyptian Ahmed Younis Naser (1:02.13).
For his part, Ardjoune (16 ans-ASPTT Algiers) knocked 56:52 before Egyptians Omar Adel Abbas (58:86) and Yousef Ashraf Mahmoud (1:00.16).
