” Georgi Zhelezarov: between Algiers and Sofia in search of light ”
On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the Bulgarian painter, Georgi Zhelezarov, who lived in Algeria during the 1920’s of the preceding century, an exhibition of paintings was inaugurated on 14/03/2017 in Sofia Municipal Gallery, in coordination with the Embassy of Algeria, the family of the artist and the Municipal Gallery of the Bulgarian capital.
On this same occasion, a catalogue of Zhelezarov’s works was published in Bulgarian and English.
