Algeria’s tree in Belgrade: Tribute to Algiers’ role in supporting NAM

BELGRADE (Serbia)- Prime Minister and minister of Finance Aïmene Benabderrahmane took part Monday afternoon, at the invitation of Prime Minister Ana Brnabic of Serbia in Belgrade, in the plantation of “Algeria’s tree,” in
commemoration of the participation of Algeria in the works of the high-level meeting marking the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), and in recognition of its role in supporting the movement.
The tree was planted by Benabderrahmane, President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo and the Serbian Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane represented President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the commemorative conference of the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
He was received by President Aleksandar Vucic of Serbia, to whom he conveyed the greetings of President Tebboune and his congratulations for the organization of this conference, which would enhance cooperation among NAM countries, mainly in the context of current issues.
