Algeria, Italy sign three agreements in various fields

ALGIERS- Three agreements in the fields of education, justice and the protection of the cultural heritage were signed by Algeria and Italy in a ceremony chaired Saturday, in Algiers, by President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella, on a State visit to Algeria.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra and Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Luigi Di Maio signed an agreement for the opening of an Italian international school in Algiers.

A twinning agreement between the Algerian and Italian Higher Schools for Magistracy was also signed, during this ceremony, by Director General of Higher Magistracy School Abdelkrim Djadi and president of the Italian Higher School for Magistracy Giorgio Latanzi.

A framework agreement was signed between the National Higher School for Cultural Heritage Protection and Restoration of Tipaza (Algiers) and the Central Institute of Restoration of Rome (Italy), by director of the National Higher School for Cultural Heritage Protection and Restoration Mohamed Cherif Hamza and director of the Central Institute of Restoration Alexandra Marino.

These agreements were signed following a one-on-one meeting between President Tebboune and his Italian counterpart, extended to the members of the two countries’ delegations.
