"Alger Industries" international exhibition opens in Exhibitions center

ALGIERS-The 10th international industry exhibition “Alger Industries” opened Monday at in the Exhibition center (Pins Maritimes), with the participation of one hundred Algerian and foreign companies.
Devoted to professionals, the exhibition brings together major public industrial operators and many public and private SEMs, in addition to industry service providers, banks and research departments and companies from France, China, Turkey and Tunisia.
The exhibition is organized by Batimatec in partnership with the Chamber of Trade and Industry of the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur region (CCI-PACA/France) and the Business club for the development of French companies in Algeria (CADEFA).
The inaugural ceremony of the exhibition, which will last until 6 October, took place in the presence of the Director of industrial production at the ministry of Industry and Mines Amar Aghadir and CEO of Batimatic Raouf Sititi.
Stiti said that Algeria’s participation is increasing and reflects the interest in this sector since some years.
“Our main goal as organizers consists in developing SEMs since their number remain low and insufficient,” he affirmed
Subcontracting, maintenance, services, robotics, electronic industry, machine-tools, security, automatism, equipment and accessories, materials, packaging and industrial computing systems are the main areas represented in this exhibition.
For her part, Representative of CCI PACA Marie-Hélène Rèche stated that during this edition, the Chamber accompanies 16 French companies in fields of industrial and service.
She added that the Chamber also supports French companies willing to open liaison offices or operate in Algeria.
A seminar on “Industrial security, management and analysis” is scheduled Wednesday on the sidelines of the event in order to highlight the role of industrial security in the study of these risks and their management.
