Bedoui hands over message from Head of State to new Mauritania’s president

NOUAKCHOTT- Prime Minister Noureddine Bedoui has been received Thursday in Nouakchott by newly elected Mauritanian President, Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani to whom he delivered a written message from Head of State,
Abdelkader Bensalah.
Following their meeting in the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic of Mauritania, Bedoui told reporters that he “was received by the Mauritanian President and conveyed to him the greetings of his brother, Head of State Abdelkader Bensalah.”
The Premier also handed a “handwritten message of congratulation that highlights the strong fraternal relations between the two countries.”

In his message, the Head of State reaffirmed “his willingness to promote bilateral relations so they love up to the aspirations of the two brother peoples,” added the Prime Minister.
Bedoui arrived in Nouakchott on Wednesday accompanied by Foreign Minister Sabri Boukadoum.

He represented Head of State, Abdelkader Bensalah, at the inauguration ceremony of the new Mauritanian president, Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani.
On June 22, Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, 62, was elected with 52% of the votes, replacing incumbent President Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz.
