ALGIERS- Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia said that the visit Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Algeria would open “promising prospects” for the cooperation between the two countries.
This visit is “important” for it would open “promising prospects” for bilateral cooperation which witnessed a “new chapter” in 2011, following the signature by Presidents, Abdelaziz Bouteflika and Vladimir Putin, of the Declaration on Partnership, Ouyahia told a news conference jointly held with his Russian counterpart.
Ouyahia dubbed “successful” the bilateral meetings that resulted in the signing of agreements, as part of this visit which comes after the 8th Russian-Algerian Joint Intergovernmental Committee for commercial, economic, scientific and technical cooperation held on 8 September in Algiers.
The diversification of the economic cooperation between Algeria and Russia will help create jobs and generate additional revenues.
