Al-Sarraj confident of “Algeria’s perspicacity” in management of Libyan crisis

ALGIERS-Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya and Prime Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Fayez al-Sarraj said he was confident of “Algeria’s perspicacity”
in the management of the crisis that shakes his country and “the lifting of all barriers” impeding the implementation of the political solution in Libya.
“I am visiting Algeria at the invitation of Premier Abdelmalek Sellal. This visit is part of consultation visits between the two countries to lift all barriers impeding the implementation of the political Solution in Libya, and we remain confident of Algeria’s efforts and perspicacity in the management of such a situation,” stressed al-Sarraj following the talks he held with Minister for Maghreb Affairs, the African Union and the Arab League Abdelkader Messahel.
Al-Sarraj, who recalled that Algeria received many Libyan officials part of these efforts, reiterated his appeal to all parties “to engage in dialogue to resolve our problems in own, without any foreign interference.”
“This goal can only be achieved if we put aside our current disagreements and try to open a new page to build our country and restore security and peace,” he added.
